Welcome

Hello! Laura and Gav here, your loyal hosts.
Elm House stands on unceded Jinibara country and we hold great respect for the Jinibara/Garumngar people whose Elders have been gathering on this land for thousands of years. We acknowledge their continued connection to the land and waters that we are grateful to call home.
We also acknowledge the ongoing disruption of colonisation and our place within this system. Our aim is to listen, learn and offer collaboration where we can as these stories unfold. We are committed to seeking accountability and justice for all.
We herald in a new beginning for a truly magnificent property with a long and loved history on the mountain. Undoubtably one of Mount Glorious’ iconic buildings and grounds, we stand on the shoulders of giants, hard-workers and big dreamers. We are pouring our hearts and souls into this property, carving out our own stories here as we look to a long life on the Mountain. A home to grow in and raise a family, and a place where we can all share what we are learning.
We have a love of music and art, nature and community. We hope to share our passions with like-minded people as we keep on dreaming up the good life.

For All, Always, Forever

Low impact

We are passionate about supporting guests to create low impact events. We compost all food waste on site and keep our chickens happy with scraps.

Family run

Our wee family lives next door in the Barn and friends tenant the Old House. There will be no corporate wedding jargon here. Your event will make you part of the family.

A safe space for all

All people will be welcomed as family at Elm House.
